I don't get his selections either. There was the dark star from 2/2/70 (right date?). That was pleasant to see. My favorite so far has been the Let it Grow from a sept. 82 performance and its quite good. Cant say I've ever been disappointed by a LIG from 81-82. But I'm with you, nearly everyday I check it out and rarely even give it a listen. I've listened to my fare share of late 70s material but rarely listen to it anymore. So, lazy delilahs are yesterdays treat. Ill be back someday. But if its a better recording of the show's gem (maybe it was samson) then I'm all for getting it out there.

Did you find any good gems?

me no? I would never download just one song unless it was the rarest of the rare and the only song that fits that bill is Rosemary and hell I even downloaded all of what was available of that show ( can't remember if it is complete )anyway even though the quality is horrible. Collecting Dead is the greatest almost free hobby there is. So much so it's often hard to spend the $ to be honest to actually buy releases. And when they DO release stuff I want it tends to be in my guilty to spend range. I already have way more than I listen to anyway and for streaming nothing I've seen from him is too exciting to me. I usually come to the Archive like most of us do to sample
